Background for the open submission
Siberia Film Night open submission events aim to be a forum for visual debate. Pre-determined themes or approaches will not be set by the organiser: instead it is intended these will emerge from the works submitted and the evening will reflect current activity of national and international artists. Participants are encouraged to be present at the screenings for a dialogue with the audience. The screening is followed by an informal social event with drinks, Champagne bar and Russian cookies.
